Since its start in 1974, with Jack Nicklaus' historic victory over J.C. Snead, THE PLAYERS Championship has been one of the PGA TOUR's most coveted titles.
The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is home to what many people call the most famous hole in golf. There aren’t many more challenging layouts on the PGA TOUR’s schedule, and the par-3 17th always provides so much drama as the world's best compete to be named THE PLAYERS Champion.
This tournament is made for the spectators. The grandstands and large sloping mounds provide unobstructed views of the action and create an overall spectator experience that is unrivalled in golf.

Extending your trip to THE PLAYERS Championship gives you a fantastic opportunity to play some of America’s best courses. Florida is full of great golf including some iconic PGA TOUR venues (past & present) such as Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill, Innisbrook Resort, Trump National Doral and PGA National.
Alternatively, head north from Jacksonville and more big names in the world of golf are less than a four-hour drive. Head to Hilton Head Island and Kiawah Island in South Carolina to experience stunning golf and hospitality.
After we were no longer able to go to the 2020 Players Championship, I immediately started looking into how to get tickets and found Golfbreaks. It was so easy because our hotel and tournament tickets were all in the same reservation! Golfbreaks was able to provide us all the info we needed for the capacity changes to the Players in 2021 and they helped us ensure that our hospitality tickets were still honoured despite these capacity limitations. It was an excellent experience!
